Atec 321 Faeta - light option

Depending Scandinavian UL market, which is based on very strict weight limitations, we developped a superlight Faeta´s version considering low weight as a basic requirement. Production method and equipment configuration are both in compliance with scandinavian weight regulations.

Basic plane items:
-engine ROTAX 912 ULS, propeller 3-blade composite FITI segmented (without a metal hub)
-mechanical flap control, mechanical elevator trim
-front wheel 300/100, main wheels KASPAR ECO 6" equipped with spats
-flight instrumentation - ASI, ALT, VSI, compass, bank indicator
-engine instrumentation - RPM, CHT, OT, EGHT, FP, OP, fuel gauge
-baterry CYCLON, 12V / 5 Ah

Another items which mean the weight reduction are listed below:
-interior painted (instead of upholstery)
-no fixed luggage compartment
-no safety system installed
-lightened seats used
-lightened cockpit heating
-engine instalation with regard to minimum hose ways
-the supplier of composite parts has been switched to Atec own production covered by Atec quality program

We achieved the empty weight 272 kg in this configuration. The aircraft is airworthy equipped in compliance with UL-2 regulation.
