Glider towing tests (DUO DISCUS)

Dated 9.5.2011 at the airport of Mnichovo Hradiště (Czech rep.) we passed towing tests to upgrade the permitted towing weight of glider. The test was performed using DUO DISCUS glider type owned by Mr.Dostál. He was one of participants in testing together with Mr. Brzkovský (President of Czech Light Aircraft Association (LAA)), who was also flying the glider towed by Faeta. All tests were managed by LAA Chief Inspector Mr. Doubek.

The tests were realized using our ATEC 321 FAETA with Rotax engine type 912 S of 100 HP, equipped with very high special performanced FITI propeller produced by Fiti Design company of Mr.Faturík.

We realized 7 aerotows and even if rough grass runway surface was not so ideal, we succeed in.
