Did you know that already more than 100 small parts installed on our aircraft are printed? An advantageous tool for facilitating production is our 3D printer, which we started using a year ago for printing individual small components, accessories, covers and bushings. With regard to the purpose of their use and required strength parameters, we choose a suitable "printing" material. This technology allows us to increase a number of components that we can design, model, fit and manufacture according to our need.
A possibility of their shaping and immediate availability without being dependent on suppliers is a big advantage. But, printed components do not only increase flexibility in our production. They are mainly practical, have an aesthetic function, low weight, protect important mechanisms and help to improve also aerodynamic shape of aircraft parts.
